Tennis played a Wednesday night show at the Orange Peel in Asheville featuring material from across their career. Singer Alaina Moore seemed to be a good mood, repeatedly telling the crowd how good it was to be back playing on tour again. Expect maybe for the one song that a bug walked across her hand while she was playing keyboard. You would have never known though until she got her husband and bandmate Patrick Riley to come get it. She moved between keyboards, singing at center stage, and playing guitar throughout the night and her voice sounded just as good as it does on Tennis’s albums.
