Asheville’s The Mothlight has closed for good.
This sucks, a lot of my favorite shows since I moved to the area took place here, it was my favorite in Asheville and I’m sorry to see it go. Thanks to the owners for their work running it. It was a really cool place. I’m fearful this isn’t the last of this type of news we’ll get with no shows happening for the foreseeable future. This comes the same day as live nation has announced they plan on fucking over artists to save their profits.
If this ever ends be sure to support your local venues.
And for the love of God wear a mask when you go out so this will end.
