St. Vincent used a Marilyn Monroe line for the chorus of this song that almost could be described as chill wave before pepping up and then showing off a bit of her underrated guitar skills. It then morphs into a funky breakdown with a guitar solo that sounds like it should be in a Prince song. A great combo of styles and a big reason why Strange Mercy was my 2011 album of the year.
