One of the world’s best song writers at the top of her game. Francis Quinlan ponders her crush, and asks herself why she didn’t try a little harder to put herself out there. This one is full of poignant lyrics that she changes in small ways as she sings, and of course there’s her one of a kind voice. Hop Along saved the best for last as this finished out last year’s album Bark Your Head Off, Dog, but we should have more to look forward to from them next decade.
