A slow base tone explodes into furious drumming and a blazing fast riff, ho hum, another Converge song, except this one uncharacteristically has lyrics you can actually understand… for the entire song. Rare for Converge, that alone doesn’t make it a great song, there are plenty of great Converge songs that require the lyric booklet. This one builds the tensions and this gloriously unleashed it. Converge are full stop one of the best bands of all time, not hardcore bands, not metal bands, just bands.
