This is a song with very specific subject matter that I can’t relate to all and still I want to see along when Mitski belts that big chorus and rocks out with guitars that sound like they were taken from a 90s Smashing Pumpkins album or maybe the first Weezer album. Mitski has been around for a while but this was my introduction to her and she become a favorite of mine in the back half of the decade.
