Jenny Lewis does such a good song writing job here that it wasn’t even until I listened to the entire Nice as Fuck album that I realized that the side project is her on vocals accompanied by bass and drums and nothing else. I’m sure it was a big challenge to write songs with such a sparse arrangement and she absolutely knocked it out of the park on this one.
