This impossibly sunny love song to California seems a bit like a dispatch from the long ago before we were living in the darkest timeline but it’s still a fun song. The production is perfect, the guitar part is memorable, and Bethany Cosentino makes you question why you would ever choose to live in a less desirable location (we just won’t think about rent prices there). It’s a good fantasy.
