The opening song to Jeff Rosenstock’s excellent album Worry, We Begged 2 Explode is about growing up and feeling listless while mourning the end of your youth. It includes the totally serious lyric “You fuckheads complain because you like to complain” and end with a whole group of voices singing “All these magic moments I’ll forget once the magic is gone.” For whatever reason I really like listening to this song on a bad day when I feel beat down by the world. It makes me feel a bit better.
