Let’s start the list with a very representative song of 2010s indie music, in my opinion. In the future if a movie or TV show wants to set itself in the 2010s this would be a good song to remind the viewers of the time period.
It’s not the best song of the decade, it’s not even Kurt Vile’s best song of the decade but it a very well known one that also happens to be damn good. It’s literally about getting out of bed, not combing your hair, and looking in the mirror and saying to yourself I look good. Not everything has to be deadly serious. (Warning, many deadly serious songs to come on the countdown, stay tuned!)
