Review: Slayer, Lamb of God, Anthrax, and Testament in Atlanta

2018 marks what has been billed as the last ever tour for Slayer and they are going out in style bringing a stacked lineup with them. Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament, and Napalm Death round out the bill. Slayer and Anthrax are two of the big four thrash bands with Metallica and Megadeth and if you ask me it should be a big five that includes Testament. Napalm Death are grindcore legends that have been around since the early 80s and Lamb of God are the youngsters on the bill, having only existed for a slight 20 years or so.

Adventures in free shows from the ticketmaster lawsuit #2: 311 and The Offspring

For part two of my two part series in concerts I got free tickets to it’s 311 and the Offspring, two bands I listened to in junior high and haven’t kept up with since. The thing to know about this show is that it rained, so much so that ticketmaster called my phone to say gates would open late. They possibly made the people already inside go back to their cars? It was pretty unclear. So we weren’t in a big rush to get there. I stopped at a place and got a wrap to eat, it was much better than the stale expensive nachos at the venue (previously on entreaty.net: I eat stale nachos and watch Janet Jackson).

Adventures in free shows from the ticketmaster lawsuit. #1 Janet Jackson

So here I am writing my first post for my music blog, starting with an artist I never would have guessed. Some backstory, I stopped using facebook because someone made a fake account with my picture and facebook would not do anything about it. I don’t know how to break it to you but those ads facebook has been running saying they are going to try to do better, yeah. . . they’re total bullshit. I know, I know not exactly a newsflash, facebook untrustworthy. Basically the only thing that I ever put there was pics from shows, so I’m sure no one will miss me and if they do Entreaty.net is now available!!
